What is a film that is a guilty pleasure to you. A film that you enjoy but now is not good. Dark Phoenix is a recent one for me. It was a massive disappointment because I’m a huge fan of the storyline in the comics. The film was directionless, boring, structurally messy, choices were forced and unearned. But hey I kind of enjoyed it. And this is coming from a big x men fan. There were a couple good performances that made the experience enjoyable. Also some neat action set pieces. Yes it is dumb and disappointing. But it is still way better than X Men origins.
