The only one I can think of is William Shatner, when he tried directing Star Trek 5: The Final Frontier. My dad would always telling me that the movie was originally so bad, that they had to re-edit the entire thing again to make is passable for theatres to show it. Wow. I don’t know if that’s true or not, but I tried watching it with him once and we couldn’t get past the weird campfire scene. This is in contrast to Leonard Nemoy, who directed Star Trek 3: The Search For Spock. It’s certainly not the best Star Trek movie ever made, but it’s Citizen Kane when compared to the utter trash that is Star Trek 5. I’m sorry if I offended you if you liked that movie, because there are people out there. After all, it has a 22% RT rating and 43% on Metacritic.
